My name is Linus Gerdes, and I'm based in Munich. My day job is operations and supply chain — building controlling and inventory systems for large manufacturers, most recently as Global KPI Owner for Inventory at BSH. Alongside that, I've run on-site operations for hosted-buyer events — same instinct, different floor: find where things are actually breaking down, and fix it.
Events are chaotic by nature. People show up late or not at all, schedules shift at the last minute, and every attendee — every sponsor who paid to be there — still expects to feel looked after. What I kept seeing on the ground was that the tools just weren't there: spreadsheets, email threads, information scattered across systems that didn't talk to each other. The harder the team worked, the more still fell through the cracks.
I started building Meetora in 2024 to fix that — not a generic event platform, but something built for how hosted-buyer events actually work: modular, configurable, and built to handle the chaos instead of pretending it doesn't exist. I'm based in Germany and work directly with every client — no account managers, no support tickets, just someone who understands your event and is reachable when it matters.
